Hello Guys,

PHPExcel have great feature, and i use it on a personal hosting (classical apache+php+mysql).

But, in a professional project, i try to use it on a pro hosting (1&1 if you know it :))

On a XAMP environnement, i just copy the class (the files) in the php subfolder.

Problem: I can't do the same things with 1&1.

Did somebody try that kind of external hosting and know how we can use the PHPExcel class?

Thanks by advance for your help :)

I don't know how 1&1 operate, but how do you upload your own scripts to their servers?

Well, with 1&1, i just have an access by FTP. Then, i upload on the server folder (like a www folder).

Did i miss something?

Thanks for your reply :)

Well you need to copy the files in the same way if you only have ftp access, but there are ftp clients that will allow you to upload a complete directory with all its contents.

But I'm sure that 1&1 will provide some option such as ssh for accessing your server from a command line.

You can upload the zipped package using ftp or scp, then ssh to the command line and unzip it from there
