I get some times the 2003 excel file with some cells which instead of values like

€123345,45 I see ########

The version of phpexcel is 1.7.6. and the format I use is like:

$currencyFormat = '"€"#,##0.00';

Why I get this behavior only with the numbers with 6 digits, am I doing sth wrong ?

This is standard Excel behaviour, nothing to do with PHPEXcel at all.... It means that the column width isn't set wide enough to show the whole value, just increase the width of the column and the number will be displayed correctly.
