Cell->Style->Alignment-> (TextVertical?)

I'm trying to set the style for a cell, the Alignment property so that the text travels down as if a line break was inserted between each character.

This is achieved in Excel by setting the alignment to vertical (instead of a degree) in the format cells dialog -> Alignment -> Orientation -> Vertical

What is the related function in PHPExcel?

What you want is stacked text. Check this post:

Thank you very much! I was trying to look at the API document files, but it wasn't too clear in the function that -165 (or 255) meant the Stacked Text. :)

This helped me but I need more.

Vertically Stacked is okay but I need Asian Layout option.

With Vertically Stacked option, text is displayed vertically but hidden out of cell. see http://cl.ly/JJyH

With Asian Layout option, text is wrapped in cell. Looks better. see http://cl.ly/JKZc

The picture is captured in LibraOffice. MS Office and OpenOffice has the same option.

Isn't it possible to make it in PHPExcel?
