Default Worksheet Border

I'm making a worksheet with various formatting and borders, but I need the default border for the worksheet to be blank/none. I've tried a few methods (range A:K, A1:K10000, and getDefaultStyle()->getBorders()->getAllBorders()->setBorderStyle(PHPExcel_Style_Border::BORDER_NONE)) but all of those resulted in errors. Can anyone tell me the proper way to have all cells default to no border?

It sounds like you want to hide grid lines:

Turns out that Mac's "Numbers" app was to blame. After opening it in Excel rather than Numbers, it came out the way I needed it to when printing. For some reason Numbers chooses to print gridlines by default unless you specifically mark them as white. Thanks for the help.
