append a file object...

Hi again! :D

Does a opportunity exists to create a file object and append it at a worksheet (only with an icon as a link)? I am sure, this is possible. I found something like to create an OLE object ... but i can't find any example or help how to do that...

this is what i am searching for

maybe someone else can help me, please? :-)

Ugg.. I'm afraid that this is somewhat above the level of what PHPExcel is capable of doing at the moment. Right now we are still struggling with some of the more basic features. It is unlikely that this will come in the near future. Unfortunately.

 Until somebody starts development of PHPWord, that's probably asking a bit much... there's only three of us developing in our spare time
