Hi

I need to format a cell to show more than 24 hours when calculating a subtotal.

I have the correct format, this works in Excel:

[t]:mm will allow hours to be larger than 24, eg. 37:45 for 37 hours and 45 minuttes.

When i try to use this the square brackets are being stripped...

How can I correct this?

I'm familiar with
[h]:mm
and that should work.

I wasn't aware that a [t] mask existed: it isn't mentioned in the MS Excel docs at all

Thanks Mark

I'm using the danish version of Excel 2013, and [t] is used as t stands for time = hour in english.

Your suggestion works, so now I know I have to use the english notation and it will be translated when PHPexcel does its magic.
