I´m able to make documents in Excel 2007 but these can´t be open from a BlackBerry, even though these documentes can be open from a PC.

I´d would like to know if there is a specific option for compatibility with a BlackBerry

Thanks in advanced

Can you provide some more info? What software on BlackBerry is used for opening Excel files? What kind of error message do you get? I don't know much about BlackBerry.

The software I use to view the file .xlsx in the BlackBerry is the
default, and the same happens in a HTC with WindowsMobile 6.1 that is
installed with its own Office.

The error message given is that the format is not supported. And does
not the attempt to open it.

On the computer I can open without any inconvenience and if I save again
and sends it to the BlackBerry I can see it, without making changes.

Apparently it is an option in the document properties, which can not

   // Create new PHPExcel object
   $objPHPExcel = new sfPhpExcel();

   // Set properties
   $objPHPExcel->getProperties()->setSubject("Office 2007 XLSX Test
   $objPHPExcel->getProperties()->setDescription("Test document for
Office 2007 XLSX, generated by Midea! using PHP classes.");
   $objPHPExcel->getProperties()->setKeywords("office 2007 openxml php");

   // Activate sheet
   // Rename sheet
   $objPHPExcel->getActiveSheet()->setTitle('Flujo de Caja');

   $c1 = new Criteria();
   $c1->add(PaymentTypePeer::ACCOUNTING_RECORD, 1);

   $payms = PaymentTypePeer::doSelect($c1);

   $objPHPExcel->getActiveSheet()->setCellValue('A1', 'Fecha');

// Set column widths

// Set fonts

// Set alignment

   $total = array(); $total[2] = 0; $beg = 0; $ban = 0; $col = 'B';
   foreach($payms as $paym):
     if(($ban != $paym->getMoneyId()) && $beg):
       $objPHPExcel->getActiveSheet()->setCellValue($col.'1', '');
       $col ++;
     endif; $beg = 1;

     if(strlen($paym->getFormOfPayment()->getName()) > 11)

     } else {

// Set column widths

// Set fonts

// Set alignment

     $ban = $paym->getMoneyId();  $total[1][$paym->getId()] = 0; $col ++;

   // Set active sheet index to the first sheet, so Excel opens this as
the first sheet

   // Save Excel 2003 file
   $objWriter = new PHPExcel_Writer_Excel2007($objPHPExcel);

   // Set time to file name
   $date = new sfDate(time());

     $dir = REPORTS_DIR.$this->getDirName().DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR;
   } else {
     $dir = REPORTS_DIR;

   $file = $dir.$this->getFileName()." ".$date->dump().".xlsx";

Thank you very much for the help

Does this mean that if you leave out those lines setting document properties, then the file can be opened?

Also, can you please try to run 01simple.php from the included tests and see if you can open that file on your device. We would very much like to get this issue solved.
