I've finally finished my starter project website for PHPExcel.
It's a zipped file that contains everything for reading spreadsheets into a MySQL database.
It contains instructions on making the final configurations for making the website work.
The website let's you select a spreadsheet file to upload and will store the data into a database called spreadsheets (spreadsheets.sql included for creation of tables) and will display the contents of the spreadsheet with stats on the file and memory configuration.
This project is designed for those who need a concrete example of how to read a spreadsheet and store the information into a database using the read filter.
This website also uses AJAX and jQuery so it is good for learning how those mechanisms work also.
Anyone who would like to download the project just send an email to me at
and I will send you the file.
All the tools I've created with this project are completely free for your own use.
