Named Range corrupts workbook

When I have a defined name range as shown below, when I open and save the workbook in Excel2007 format, the named range is corrupted and a warning message apears when trying to open the results.  I unzipped the xlsx file before and after and found that the named range changes.  Originally it starts off as Sheet1!$A$1:$A$7,Sheet1!$B$1:$B$7,Sheet1!$C$1:$C$7 and after saving it changes to Sheet1'!$A$1:$A$7:B7,Sheet1!C1:C7 .

 <definedName name="Test"localSheetId="0">'Sheet1'!$A$1:$A$7:B7,Sheet1!C1:C7</definedName><o:p></o:p>

<o:p> <definedNamename="Test">Sheet1!$A$1:$A$7,Sheet1!$B$1:$B$7,Sheet1!$C$1:$C$7</definedName></o:p>
