  3. I found 1 problem (OS dependant issue) with the sys_get_temp_dir() PHP function. See the missing trailing slash issues. I fixed this in PHPEXcel/Shared/File.php by modifying the sys_get_temp_dir() function on line r106-r137
  4. Ive tried by using PHPExcel_Settings::setZipClass(PHPExcel_Settings::PCLZIP); as a possible solution to no avail.
Anyone any ideas?

I'm new to this tool - but my project is using the Excel 2007 writer just fine, running off an Ubuntu Server VirtualBox installation.

Are the examples/test PHP files working for you?

Are any errors showing up in your Apache log?
