Support for column ranges in formulas

Hey there, i see on this web page[1] that PHPExcel doesn't support what i'll call column ranges.  Here's an example of what i mean =VLOOKUP('FOO','D. EF_Key'!$A:$N,5,FALSE)

That was over a year ago.  Is this still true?

 

I've entered a bunch of debugging statements into Calculator.php.  The current $opCharacter is ' (the one before D. EF_KEY) and the function bails out here

else {    // I don't even want to know what you did to get here
                return $this->_raiseFormulaError("Formula Error: An unexpected error occured");

}
